We value the Bible as the inspired Word of God. We believe in relevant, anointed, life changing preaching. We aim to be a church driven by God’s presence. Out of that flows purpose, power, and provision.
Godly Servant-Hood
The heart of a servant is the true mark of a Christian. To serve God and others is the responsibility of every believer. Every leader is also a servant. Leadership is action, not position. Jesus is our example.
Prayer
We are committed to prayer. We recognize that it is our means of communication with God & the source of power that propels the Church.
Every Member A Minister
We are dedicated to seeing people fulfill their God-given destiny, through equipping & empowering for “every member” ministry. We value commitment to the Body of Christ & recognize the call to make disciples. We are co-labourers and partners in the work Jesus has called us to do. Everyone is gifted.
Witness
We are committed to reach others with the truth, both at home & globally. We see the importance of building & maintaining healthy relationships with anyone and everyone. We are committed to growth in all its forms.
Cultural Relevance
Jesus met people where they were at. He didn’t change His message, but He changed how he presented it. He understood cultural relevance. That was the whole point of His coming as a man. We aim to be like Jesus and relate to the generation we are in. We are to love people and assist them where we can.
People Matter
We believe that people are God’s priority & should therefore matter to us. We believe in “people before program”. We are to be agents of God’s Grace. We believe in justice for all, especially the dispossessed.
Fellowship / Community
We believe in the importance of developing community, achieved through doing life together. This is expressed in a number of ways and includes the gathering of the church for fellowship.
Strong Families
We believe in the Biblical concept of ‘family’. We are convinced that the family unit is the basis of a stable society & are committed to modeling & encouraging Godly relationships.
Giving
We are committed to the Biblical principle of giving. We acknowledge that we are stewards of all we possess. We value financial responsibility & accountability. We also recognize our responsibility to support the work of God.
Sustained Excellence & Quality
We believe excellence honours God & inspires people. We define excellence as ‘doing the best you can with what you’ve got’
