Gateway's "CIA" ministry is all about having an active involvement in caring for people. This is expressed through the love Christ has to those in need. We recognise this need within the church and most importantly outside the church.

Care in Action supports the emergency food assistance by providing food parcels and vouchers to families that are stuck in hard times through crisis or misfortune.

Help is also offered in the form of clothing or furniture to those in need through 'Hand In Hand' Op-Shop, located on the church premises.

We belong to a group of agencies called the Southern Urgency Relief Fund or know as SURF. As a member of SURF we are able to access funding provided by the Commonwealth and State Government Departments of Health and Services.

Other areas of involvement include the preparation and distribution of meals for people belonging to the church. This is short-term help for the sick or incapacitated.

Each Christmas, hampers are also provided to needy families.
